Daniel Alexander Van Tuijll

Ports and Waterborne Transport Specialist

World Bank Indonesia

Daniel Alexander van Tuijll has been with the World Bank since 2013 working both in the Transport and Trade & Competitiveness Global Practices. Stationed in Indonesia but also active in projects in Myanmar and the Philippines, covering multiple fields within port development such as; priority port development identification, concession agreements, tariff setting, national single windows, investment climate and market access for logistics service providers. Daniel Alexander van Tuijll holds a port management degree from the Rotterdam Maritime College, a BBA from Rotterdam Business School and a MA Asian Studies from Leiden University. Currently working on projects including with the Indonesian Ministry of Long Term Planning on medium term planning for ports and shipping, Indonesian Ministry of Transport on port tariff reform and with Myanmar Port Authority on improving navigation on the Yangon River.
