Mr. Mohammad Iqbal was born in Semarang on February, 28 1971. Appointed as a Director of Pelindo III since November 2016. He was graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Engineering Faculty of Diponegoro University and Post-graduate degree in Financial Management from PPM Graduate School of Management. Before he was appointed in Pelindo III, he was a Director for PT TangguhSamudera Jaya and Maruzen Samudera Taiheiyo, and as well as a CEO of PT Samudera Golden Mitra.
In 2010, Mr. Iqbal led the implementation of the first port project using Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Indonesia, called Terminal PetikemasPalaran (TPK Palaran). In 2011, he also conducted the conversion of Terminal 3 TanjungPriok from a Conventional Terminal into International Container Terminal. In 2013, he expanded new business sector, PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina which covers the logistic and integrated distribution from West Kalimantan and PT Samudera Golden Mitra which covers the port area and logistic center in Samarinda.
